FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I draw from a blend of evidence-based and experiential approaches rather than a rigid, one-size-fits-all model. Our work is guided by what matters most in the moment, not a fixed protocol. Instead of only targeting symptoms, we explore the patterns underneath them: how and why your mind, body, and nervous system respond the way they do.
I’m also comfortable being real with you. When self-disclosure is genuinely helpful, I use it intentionally, because therapy doesn’t have to be a space where one person has to pretend to have it all figured out. The more room there is for humanity, the less room there is for shame.
-
I do. My own lived experience of growth and healing informs how I show up in therapy, grounding me in humility, curiosity, and respect for each person’s experience. I bring the same self-compassion, humor, and insight to our work that I practice in my own life, which keeps me grounded, accountable, and realistic about what change actually looks like.

I offer individual and family therapy for clients ages 16 and older, using a strengths-based, collaborative approach tailored to each person or family. We focus on understanding patterns, building insight, and supporting meaningful, lasting change.

There's no set timeline. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others stay longer to work more deeply. We'll check in regularly to make sure therapy continues to feel supportive and aligned with your goals.
-
Therapy is a collaborative process. I’ll bring perspective, guidance, tools, and curiosity, while you bring your experiences, insights, and expertise about your life.
Sessions go beyond just talking and into making sense of what’s happening, connecting it to the bigger picture, and turning that understanding into meaningful change. The goal is to help you develop a stronger sense of self-trust and confidence in your ability to navigate a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and peaceful.
-
Absolutely. A meaningful part of the work is discovering that together. What you initially come in wanting to work on often evolves as you understand more of the "why" beneath your struggles, and that shift is a natural, important part of the process.

I offer telehealth to clients located in New Jersey & Florida, meeting you wherever you're comfortable — your couch, your home office, your car on a lunch break.
Wherever we meet, you'll need to be physically located in NJ or FL at the time of your session.
-
Yes. If you're local to Morris County, NJ, you're welcome to choose in-person sessions in addition to, or instead of, telehealth.

I'm in-network with select insurance plans, so the best first step is to reach out and confirm if yours is included. If your plan isn't in-network but includes out-of-network benefits, you can pay out of pocket, and I'll provide a superbill for reimbursement (the amount depends on your specific plan).
Still have questions? Reach out! I’m more than happy to answer what’s on your mind.
